Polar Mist Captain Jack

Jack's favorite things in life were growling at his bone (smoked knuckle bones were the best) and being happy!  He also had two secret out-of-town girlfriends.  They were a Labrador Retriever named Ruby (who spurned his advances) and an older Australian Cattle girl named Melba who simply adored him.

Jack's biggest accomplishment in life (besides being YukieBear's daddy) was just always being happy!  As you can see, Jack was simply a gorgeous boy.   And you simply couldn't ask for a better temperament!   Jack was always the peacemaker and when our favorite memories was when a rescue dog started growling at the rest of the pack, Jack calmly walked in between and stayed there until the rescue dog calmed down.  He protected his own pack, yet never once even growled.

Jack's history:  Jack  was bred by Lynette Blue of Polar Mist Samoyeds in Bend, Oregon.  When Jack was only 13 weeks old he fell through the rails on our deck and broke his leg on a growth plate.  Despite the best orthopedic surgery we could find, the leg never grew as tall as the rest of his legs, so poor Jack walked with an extremely noticeable limp his entire life.  He was the sweetest boy in the world!

Jack's sire was AKC Champion Polar Mist Mov'n N-A Groov'n "JJ" and his dam was AKC Champion Polar Mist Russian Princess "Flame".

Jack died unexpectedly of bloat in Spring 2006.  There will never be a Samoyed sweeter than Jack...
