AKC CHAMPION SFX MoonFire's High Desert Dancer, HIC

Sundance finished her AKC Championship on May 11, 2002 with 3 major wins, including a 5 point major (pictured above) thanks to the professional handling skills of Michael Brantley.  Dave and I missed it as we were in the Grand Cayman snorkeling and drinking margaritas on the Jimmy Buffet beach...

New Champion Sundance came home from the shows, promptly dug a big hole in our red dirt and is back to being red dog :o).    She had puppies in August 2003 with Ch. YukieBear which gave us MoonFire's Sky Dancer "Tori". 

Sundance has GOOD hips as certified by the Orthopedic Foundation For Animals (OFA) and she has good eyes (CERF). 

Sundance's favorite things in life are playing chase, catching lizards, and basking in the sun.  She is a very talkative and friendly young lady.  

Sundance was bred by Lori Chapek-Carleton (and Gordon Carleton and Cindy Harrington) of SFX Samoyeds in Lansing, Michigan.  Sundance's sire is Ch. Harmony's Hug-A-Bear (owned by Ken and Kari Granaki of Snowater Samoyeds in Bend, Oregon) and her dam is AKC/CKC Ch./BIS UKC Gr. Ch. Polar Mist Gemini Dream, HIC, CGC, TDI, also known as "Misty".    What a great pedigree this girl has! 

Sundance now lives with Jennifer Rudnick in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  It is rumored that she hangs out on the Plaza and steals breakfast burritos from the tourists.  Lucky dog.
